The Role:
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support students at a welcoming secondary school in Buxton. This role is ideal for someone who has previously worked in a school setting, understands the demands and rewards of assisting young people with SEND, and is looking for an immediate start.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide targeted support to students with SEND, both in and out of the classroom
Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and ensure each student's specific needs are met
Support students with their learning, social development, and emotional wellbeing
Assist in adapting resources and planning activities tailored to each student's abilities and challengesRequirements:
This role requires applicants who have:

A proven track record of working within a school or educational environment (essential)
Experience supporting students with SEND, particularly within a secondary school setting
Strong communication skills, patience, and adaptability to respond to a range of student needs
