A primary school in Brentford are on the hunt for a creative graduate who is ready to embrace their imagination by supporting students who have SEN and SEMH needs. You will be assisting the students with their academia but having a main focus on improving their Social and Physical needs.
You will be working closely with students who have Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia utilising your creativity. Most of these students learn visually rather than verbally, so you will be able to get arty and practical with your teaching approaches. In this role you will be supporting the students in and out of the classroom, working on a 1:1 and small group basis.
You will be working across the year groups (EYFS - KS1) and be provided with all the training and resources you need to be successful in this role. This school offer a state of the art sensory room and SEN department which you can utilise with the students.

About the Creative Teaching Assistant role
Creative Teaching Assistant - EYFS - KS2
Working across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 with a focus on raising attainment
Supporting students with various additional needs including; Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language needs and more
Supporting the lead teacher set up lessons
Assisting students with their core subjects such as English, Maths and Science
Completing 1:1 and group session in and out of the classroom
September Start
Full Time & Long-term contract - Monday-Friday
Full academic year
£105 - £110 Per Day

1st Class or 2:1 degree at a Russel Group University
Good A Levels & GCSEs across the board
Must have a creative background
Must be confident and ambitious to make positive impacts on pupils
