Irwin and Colton are delighted to announce that we have been engaged to recruit for a regional sustainability lead by one of the largest global engineering and manufacturing firms. This is a newly created role which has the opportunity to shape and implement sustainability initiatives, aiding their decarbonisation strategy across the UK and sites in Europe.

Key responsibilities of the Regional Sustainability Lead:

Lead the development and implementation of the sustainability strategy across the UK and Europe.
Drive energy and carbon management initiatives to support the company's decarbonisation journey.
Work closely with site sustainability champions to embed best practice
Work closely with site sustainability champions, utilities teams, and operational leaders to influence and embed sustainability best practices.
Monitor and report sustainability performance, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and regulatory requirements.A Successful Regional Sustainability Lead will have:

A degree (BSc or MSc) in an environmental discipline with a membership to IEMA a desirable.
Demonstratable knowledge and experience in energy and carbon management, ideally within the manufacturing industry
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and drive sustainability initiatives across multiple sites.This is an excellent opportunity to lead on environmental compliance with a multinational manufacturing firm.
