IT Support Engineer

Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm

£23,000 - £28,000 Depending on Experience

Our client is a well-established and expanding business known for their friendly and welcoming team environment. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.

We are seeking candidates who have previous experience within a similar role who are looking for join a friendly and welcoming team, you will also have excellent communication skills and a full UK driving licence.

Duties to include

What our client can offer you:

* Responding to technical issues via email and phone.

* Travel to customer sites as required to resolve any issues that can’t be fixed on a remote basis.

* Investigate, diagnose and resolve technical incidents and service requests, escalating where necessary.

* Work independently to high standards with little intervention or assistance.

* Adhere to SLA’s keeping users updated at all times.

What we are looking for:

* Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator.

* MTA: Networking, Security and Windows Server Administration Fundamental exams.

* Experience of working within a service desk environment for at least 2 years.

* Experience of working with a variety of clients.

* Previous experience in supporting and implementing client hardware and software.

* The ability to use, support and implement MS Office applications.

* Working knowledge and experience of Window Server, Windows Desktop, Microsoft Exchange, Hyper-V, Remote Desktop Service and Active Directory & Windows Operating Systems.

* A strong understanding of IT Networking principles.

* Good knowledge of VoIP Telephony.

* Advanced knowledge of mobile phone devices, both apple and android + hardware such as printers and Bluetooth.
