Portfolio Manager

Location: Peterborough

Salary: £27,000 per annum, OTE £30,000

Reports To: Leasing Services – Team Leader / Onsite Building Manager

Role Summary:

We are looking for a driven Leasing Services – Portfolio Manager to join our client’s team in Peterborough. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and enhancing a residential portfolio, ensuring top-notch performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction. You'll collaborate closely with clients, tenants, and contractors to ensure that all activities adhere to service level agreements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the lettings process, working with local and specialist teams to minimise vacancies.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the portfolio.

Regularly evaluate and improve the performance of your assigned portfolio.

Participate in corporate client meetings to discuss lettings strategies and report on vacant properties.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients.

Conduct regular property visits to all units within your portfolio.

Manage repairs and maintenance, ensuring service levels are consistently met (through the Tenant Services team).

Source and manage local sub-agents to achieve the best results.

Ensure all required documentation is signed and returned by sub-agents.

Address tenant queries and complaints promptly and professionally.

Prepare and submit detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.

Oversee budgeting and ensure all processes and procedures are up to date.

Work closely with other teams and departments to ensure high levels of efficiency.

Experience & Skills Required:

Experience in residential lettings or asset management.

Strong IT skills and technical literacy.

Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities.

High attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Ability to build and maintain strong client and team relationships.

High energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to self-improvement and team success.
