A great opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join one of the UK’s leading Traffic Management contractors. Our client has a turnover of £125 million and employs 1500 staff across the UK. With current contracts including HS2, Hinkley Point C, A465, M25 and forthcoming projects including the Stonehenge Tunnell and Sizewell C, my client offers stability for years to come.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be commercially responsible for multiple projects, supply chain management, aged debt etc and be fully conversant with MS Excel and working from a schedule of rates. We are happy to consider applications from experienced Quantity Surveyors looking to take the next step in the career progression. 1-2 days hybrid working is offered with this role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will:

* Maintain accurate records, control and reconcile costs and value, report variances against agreed performance, compliance and finance targets.

* Take control of change management.

* Be involved in a review of current procedures and processes and assist in the implementation of new and revised processes where required.

Our client requires a Senior Quantity Surveyor with:

* Previous experience of working for a Tier 2 subcontractor, ideally within the highways market.

* Strong commercial awareness and acumen.

* A working knowledge of Microsoft Office incl. Excel and Word.

* A valid UK driving license.

Salary/Benefits for Senior Quantity Surveyor position:

* £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

* £5,000 car allowance

* Hybrid working
