I am currently working with a fantastic organisation in Cambridge who are looking for a Maintenance Assistance to join the team on a full-time permanent basis.

They’re ideally looking for someone who has previous experience in a similar position, but would be open to the right candidate if they were looking to learn and grow within the team.

Typical duties would include:

* To maintain the maintenance store and workshop, ensuring stock is kept high and the rooms are well organised.

* Keep drains clear from obstructions and pick litter to keep the college grounds clean & tidy.

* To report any unsafe conditions or appliances around the college.

* To complete job sheets when jobs have been completed.

The successful candidate:

* A good understanding of Health & Safety regulations

* Able to cope with a physically demanding job

* Good communication skills

* Able to work as part of a large team.

It would be desirable in the successful candidate had previous maintenance or trades experience.
