Our Client
Our client is a leading player in the manufacturing sector, known for driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. They are seeking a proactive individual to support their finance team and help optimize business performance. Based on the outskirts of Kettering, our client will be looking for an individual to be on-site 4 days a week, with 1 day working from home.
The Role
This is a temporary Site Accountant position with the opportunity to add significant value to the operations team.

Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting
Implement cost control measures and identify cost-saving opportunities
Assist in preparation of weekly/monthly financial reports
Support production of budgets and forecasts
Provide financial and commercial insights to the operations teams Main Duties

Analyse financial data to improve performance and highlight insights
Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate financial reporting
Cost new products for customer accounts
Collaborate with sourcing teams to improve margin and buying practices The Successful Candidate

Strong financial analysis and cost control experience
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Previous experience in manufacturing or similar industries is desirable
