Role purpose
As Import/Export Controller you’ll become a pivotal member of the Supply Chain team in processing shipments to and from global customers.

As Import/Export Controller you'll:
Process shipments to and from global customers
Maintain adherence to import and export procedures and controls
Audit import declarations to ensure compliance with HRMC procedures
Resolve queries with shipments right through to completion
Constantly monitor production schedules to ensure timely collections to meet with agreed customer schedules
Negotiate with carriers to ensure the most cost effective shipment methods
As Import/Export Controller you’ll have:
Prior experience of logistics compliance
Knowledge of stock movement transactions
Proficiency across Microsoft Office programs including Excel
Good customer service and administrative skills
Strong attention to detail
A methodical, analytic and process driven approach to work
The ability to handle multiple priorities to meet tight deadlines, within a fast-paced environment
