KPJ Group is recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading provider of packing services at their Blackburn site.

This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer with mechanical bias and previous experience in food manufacturing.

* £36,000 - £37,000 per year

* Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:15pm

What will you be doing as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer?

* Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on machinery and facilities

* Diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently

* Performing repairs and general maintenance on equipment

* Setting up machinery during production changeovers

* Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and HACCP/BRC standards

* Maintaining optimal working conditions for equipment

What do you need?

* Previous experience in a food manufacturing maintenance role

* Familiarity with various types of machinery including multi head weighing machines, bagging machines & liner weighers

* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

* An apprenticeship in a relevant field (desirable)
