Business Development Manager – Midlands and South – £35,000 - £40,000

Chase & Holland are excited to be partnering with a leading international manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their business.

As Business Development Manager, you will be generating new business for the organisation using a variety of methods. You will have previous business development experience and a proven track record of success. This business is seeing a strong period of growth year on year and this role is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a global business that can offer a fantastic friendly working environment and internal development.

Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:
 
Prospecting for potential new clients and turning this into increased business
Cold calling as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
Meeting potential clients by growing, maintaining your network
Identifying potential clients, and decision makers
Researching and building relationships with new clients
Participating in pricing the solution/service
Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion
Arranging and participating in internal and external client debriefs
Attending industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
Presenting to and consulting with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels
Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
Skills Required:
Business development experience
A background within Engineering, Manufacturing or FMCG (desirable)
Team player
