Role - Power Press Operative

Location - Bradford

Shifts - 6am-2pm/2pm -10pm/10pm-6am (YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL 3 SHIFTS)

Pay - £13.49 for Double days 25% uplift for nights

Start - ASAP

Typical Responsibilities will include:

Working on Power Presses up to 40 tonnes
Installation of tooling, setting of the Power Presses and ancillary equipment in line with SMED principles
Carrying out quality control procedures and keeping accurate records of measurements
Identifying non-conforming parts and instigating product isolation procedures when necessary
Trace and correct running faults on the Power Press
Reporting breakdown and/or maintenance issues to the Production Management team
Packaging and storage of finished products
Maintaining housekeeping standards and organising/participating in the timely removal of scrapKnowledge, skills, and experience required:

Experience working with Power Presses in a high-volume manufacturing environment
Conversant with using measuring equipment
Good level of literacy and numeracy skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Good eye for detailDesirable Qualifications - (willing to train the right candidate)
