Wasco UK is based in Hartlepool and specialises in protective coatings for oil and gas pipelines. We are looking to appoint an Electrical Technician, reporting to the Engineering Manager. The role is to be employed on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities of the role:

* Ensure maintenance activities are safely and efficiently conducted at all times

* Ensure effective implementation of Planned Preventative Maintenance programmes

* Ensure timely completion of maintenance activities

* Identify opportunities to improve all maintenance activities to that unplanned down time is minimised

* Respond to breakdowns in an effective and timely manner ensuring production is restored safely and as soon as possible

* Effectively instal machinery and equipment

The successful candidate will have a minimum of NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering time served, fault finding experience (preferably Siemens). You will be a team player, have excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise work load efficiently to minimise down time.
