We are excited to open the floor for applications for the position of General Operative within our esteemed company located in Woodhall Spa Quarry to run the quarry, process plant, Mobile equipment, bagging operation and site in a safe and efficient manner. Reporting to site management, you will be required to carry out the duties assigned within the daily operation of the unit.

Key Responsibilities of Our General Operative

As a General Operative, you will be at the heart of our operations, undertaking various tasks to support our teams and facilitate the delivery of top-notch services. Your agility and adaptability will be key to your success in this role.

Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area.

Assist in the loading and unloading of materials.

Operate machinery and equipment with appropriate training and supervision.

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Support the team with inventory checks and stock management.

Report any incidents or irregularities to supervisors.

What We Look For in a Candidate

We believe in the potential of our team members and seek individuals who possess the following qualities:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexible attitude to work.

Quarry experience or similar preferable.

Knowledge of health and safety procedures.

Operation of MEWP / Telehandler / Loading Shovel experience desirable, training will be provided.

You should be punctual and First aider.

Basic math's and English knowledge is desirable.
