GSL Education are seeking to employ an Graduate Teaching Assistant to work, or a primary client school in Ashington from the upcoming September term / ASAP. Responsibilities of a Graduate Teaching Assistant (Primary):

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
Work with small groups or one-on-one with students to provide targeted support.
Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Help prepare classroom resources and materials.
Monitor and record pupils' progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
Encourage positive behaviour and manage classroom dynamics effectively.
Requirements for the Graduate Teaching Assistant (Primary) role:

A degree or equivalent qualification.
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work well as part of a team and show initiative.
Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school.
Possess an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to have one processed immediately.
