Our private client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Theatre Practitioner to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience with a market leading Private Healthcare group.

We are looking for practitioners that have a wealth of experience in; Orthopaedics (Minor & Major), General, Laparoscopy, ENT, Urology and Ophthalmic but training will be available if required for anthing unfamiliar. Please note that Major Orthopaedics is mandatory.

Duties & Responsibilites

* Assist in scrubbing for Consultant led surgeries that vary in complexity and specialism.

* Assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.

* Create care plans that are appropriate and specific to the patient and their needs, taking into consideration the care pathway, perioperative risks and overall wellbeing.

Requirements

* Qualified ODP/Scrub Nurse.

* NMC or HCPC registered with no restrictions on your pin.

* Major Orthopaedic experience.

* A minimum of 2 years scrub experience in a surgical/Theatre setting.

* Background in working in fast paced, challenging but rewarding environment.

* Driver with car (this is due to the difficult location and lack of public transport.
