Job Opportunity: Freelance General Foreman – Civil Engineering Projects

Location: Perth

Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced General Foreman to join their team for water infrastructure projects in Perthshire. This role is initially for 3–6 months, with the potential for extension based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering toolbox talks and ensuring the project remains on schedule
Effectively managing site teams and delegating tasks
Ordering plant and materials to ensure timely project execution
Identifying and implementing proactive solutions to on-site challenges
Maintaining the highest standards of Health & Safety procedures at all times

Immediate start available
Pay Rate: £250–£270 per day (gross), dependent on experience
Qualifications and Requirements

Proven experience in civil engineering projects, particularly in the water sector
Essential qualifications: SSSTS, DOMS, and First Aid
A full UK driving licence and own transport
Strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
