Alliance Personnel are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join one of their clients based in Birmingham, B76 area.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse by handling various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and materials management.

This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

* Load and unload goods from lorries using appropriate equipment.

* Maintain accurate stock levels and assist in inventory management.

* Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse. (training provided)

* Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory and shipments.

* Perform materials handling tasks, ensuring proper storage of products.

* Conduct regular checks on equipment and report any mechanical issues.

* Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

* Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred

* Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is beneficial.

* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.

* A valid forklift licence is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.

* A proactive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration within the warehouse setting.

* PC literate

Working Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
