Due to continued work wins and a sustainable growth period our client is now keen to identify Remediation Engineer.

Approximately one year on a contract basis our client requires an independent and consultative Remediation Engineer who is well versed in large bulk earthworks and/or muck-shift schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conducting field investigations and collecting samples to assess contamination levels in soil, groundwater, and sediments.

* Evaluating the extent and nature of contamination.

* Developing remediation strategies based on site-specific conditions and regulatory requirements

Technical Reporting and Compliance:

* Preparing technical reports documenting site assessments, remediation plans, and project progress.

* Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and permits.

* Monitoring remediation effectiveness and ensuring long-term site stability.

* Working with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, geology, or a related field.

Experience in environmental site assessments, remediation project management, and/or environmental consulting
