Title: Highly Specialised Dietitian

Location: Sydenham, SE London

Hours: 22.5 hours per week – Permanent

Salary: £38,601 - £49,325 per annum FTE, inclusive of HCA (Band 7 equivalent)

£29,506-£33,295 inclusive HCA for 22.5 hours per week

We are looking for dynamic, ambitious and experienced Dietitian to join the multi-disciplinary Rehab and Wellbeing team at St Christopher’s Hospice.

The role will involve the provision and delivery of specialist Dietetic assessment and treatment for patients with life-limiting illness to optimise their independence and make a significant difference to their quality of life. The successful candidate will provide a clinical dietetic service across the in-patient setting, out-patient clinics and other venues as required, and work as part of St Christopher’s multi-disciplinary team, contributing to high quality, goal-focussed patient care and support.

We are looking for:

* a person-centred Dietitian with sound clinical reasoning skills and the ability to deliver therapeutic, rehabilitative interventions across a complex patient caseload in a specialist palliative care setting

* experience across core areas of clinical practice

* advanced communication skills and ability to work well in a team
