Title of Post: Finance Officer

Salary: Grade 4

Accountable to: Headteacher and Trust Director of Finance

Start Date: 23rd September - temporary

Tradewind are working in partnership with a mainstream secondary school in Liverpool who are looking for a temporary Finance Officer to start as soon as possible.

You will be working within the school administration team with responsibility for all finance related administration between the hours of 8am - 4pm, Monday - Friday, for 35 hours per week during term time only.

Main duties for this role include:
- inputting date on SIMS, FMS and Oracle
- liaising with the LA bursar
- to monitor and prepare monthly financial records
- checking expenditures across all budget headings
- raising and processing orders and invoices
- bank reconciliation and administering petty cash accounts

Experience of working a school environment with the SIMS FMS and ORACLE system is ESSENTIAL.

To be considered for this role, you must:

Have previous SIMS, FMS and ORACLE experience
Be able to provide 2 professional references, with 1 being from your most recent employee
Hold an enhanced Child DBS which is registered on the update service or willing to pay for one
Be available from the 23rd September
Have school based experience
