Automotive Parts Advisor

* Full Time/Permanent

* Monday-Friday - 8am-5pm

* NO Weekends

* Basic Salary - £25,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience

Duties of a Parts Advisor

* Advising customers of the correct parts they require for their vehicle

* Taking orders over the phone or by email

* Checking availability of parts via system or physically in the warehouse

* Picking parts from the warehouse for technicians and customers

* Ordering parts via phone and online systems

* Suppling quotes

* Arranging deliveries to customers or workshops

* Dealing with payments

* Raising invoices and issuing receipts

* Managing parts returns of unwanted or incorrect stock

* Putting stock away and updating records

* Managing old unit returns

Requirements of a Parts Advisor

* 3+ years of Automotive Parts Advisor experience within a bodyshop or main dealership environment.

* Skilled in using Microsoft packages - Word, Excel, Outlook

* Have an eye for detail to ensure stock levels are always at required levels

* Excellent customer service skills
