Job Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team starting in September 2024. This part-time role involves providing support across various classes, assisting with lesson preparations, and contributing to the educational development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

Support classroom teachers in delivering effective teaching and learning.
Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional help.
Supervise and ensure the safety of students during activities and break times.
Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Support the emotional and social development of students.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed.Experience and Skills Required:

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role.
Understanding of primary school curriculum and child development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with children.
Basic IT skills for administrative tasks and educational software.

Qualifications:

Relevant qualification in education or child care is desirable.
First Aid certification is an advantage.
