We have a great opportunity for a Construction Manager working with a fit out contractor in Central London on a project due to run for circa 9-10 months.

The Project is an internal package involving carpentry, joinery, fire doors and partitions. valued at circa £3m. You will be responsible for managing the site and will have to be quite an expert in carpentry / joinery due to the package you will be looking after.

You will be reporting to the Project Manager daily. Whilst managing the site, you must also be maintaining a high standard of health & safety while ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.

The project is working alongside a tier 1 main contractor, it is essential that the manager is a programme pusher, excellent at QA, and have a solid understanding of current fire regulations

The ideal Site Manager must have:

Have CAT A / B Fit Out experience
Carpentry / Joinery experience
Longevity in roles with some of the contractors in the industry
Have experience in delivering commercial fit outs
Experience and understanding of the floor plate of the building
Understanding of programmes and ability to handle minutes efficiently
Experience successfully running fit out projects as a Site Manager on commercial projects
Interpersonal skills so you can get on with the rest of the team
SMSTS, First Aid, Fire Marshall and Black Card/NVQ Level 6 certsWhat's in it for you as the Site Manager on this project?
