Senior Geotechnical Engineer

£45,000 - £55,000

My client is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, preferably holding a degree in civil engineering along with a postgraduate qualification in a geotechnical discipline as well as having chartered status with the ICE confirmed or close to attainment.

Candidate Requirements

Strong academic background with a relevant civil engineering degree, ideally complemented by an MSc or equivalent.
Proficiency in finite element modelling and analysis, particularly with software such as PLAXIS2D/3D.
Familiarity with general numerical software like Geostudio, Repute, Wallap, etc.
Chartered status or nearing attainment of Chartered status.
Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced engineering consultancy environment.
Proven project management skills with an understanding of the engineering consultancy and design markets.
Track record of successful geotechnical design projects.
Application of CDM Regulations in design and ground investigation settings.
Exceptional interpersonal and technical abilities with a knack for developing and leading geotechnical design teams.
Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage effectively with clients.
Successful commercial track record in negotiating and managing projects.
Possession of a valid UK driving license.Additional Benefits:
