Job Advertisement: Science Teacher (Full-Time/4 Days Option)
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join our vibrant and inclusive secondary school, catering to students aged 11-16. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and engage young learners in their language studies, helping them develop both linguistic and cultural fluency.
Position Details:
* Location: Swindon
* Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday) with an option for 4 days per week
* Start Date: Depending on Availablity
* Salary: Daily rate or MPS - UPS
* Closing Date for Applications: 07/10/2024
* This role does not provide sponsorship
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and dynamic Science lessons to students aged 11-18, following the national curriculum
* Plan, prepare, and assess students' work, ensuring progress and success
* Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages students to achieve their full potential
* Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, events, and collaboration with staff
Qualifications & Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification
* Experience teaching Science at secondary school level is highly desirable
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build effective relationships with students
* A commitment to promoting a passion for languages and intercultural understanding
* Live in Swindon or Able to commute to the area Daily
