My client has an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to join the team.

We adapt cars so that people with mobility issues can get themselves and their mobility devices into and out of their car. We enable people to maintain their independence and the use of their car.

Our products are genuinely liberating and transformative for their users.

Due to the forecasted continued growth of our business, we are seeking to recruit an additional Production Operative to join our team.

The role:

Work as part of the production team being involved in all areas of manufacturing our products.

This varied role will mean you are flexible and carry out work in welding and fabrication, along with assembling and dispatching.

You will use IT, engineering drawings and machinery throughout each activity.

It would be advantageous if you can operate a forklift truck, as this is used to move product around our factory, although this is not essential.

On occasion, parts need to be collected from suppliers and it would be desirable if you have a driving licence, but again not mandatory.

We advocate continuous improvement and encourage everyone to give their suggestions to make us more efficient and effective.

We operate a clean, warm factory environment, with many of the activities being carried out sitting at a bench.

The Person:

* Experience of working in manufacturing

* Able to operate equipment in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all health and safety procedures

* Able to read and follow engineering drawings

* Work on own initiative, check work and solve problems

* Produce work to a high quality

* Forklift truck experience advantageous

* Driving licence desirable but not essential

* Be IT competent

* Flexible, with a ‘can do’ attitude and a good team player

* Welding skills
