The Job
Saddlers are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor 

Location
Based in Old Trafford, Manchester, but covering a 40 miles radius for sites in Liverpool/ Chester/ Manchester

Experience Required

Previous experience as a QS in a civils or construction 
Worked in any one of the following sectors- heavy civils, utilities, tunnelling, water or rail. 
NEC 3&4 forms of contract 
To be commercially conscious of the integrated delivery team, providing commercial support to both the delivery management and on-site delivery teams.
Ability to use a range of IT packages including Microsoft Office and bespoke package
Exceptional relationship-building skill
Self-motivated and proactive
Commercial awareness and understanding of the Construction process
Excellent communication skills, both oral & written
Negotiation skills and ability to apply those skills and internally, externally & with our supply chain.
Positive attitude at all times and the ability to integrate rate and play an active part in the Construction Team
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines
Keen to pursue personal development needs and maintain up-to-date knowledge Desirable

Salary/ Benefits 
- £45-55k a year dependent on salary 
- Willing to travel to site when required in the areas mentioned above
