Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant (1:1) - Cardiff

We are seeking a dedicated Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a KS2 pupil in Cardiff with challenging behaviour. This full-time role is due to last for the next two school terms and requires someone with strong experience in 1:1 support.

Responsibilities:

Providing tailored 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil with challenging behaviour.
Assisting the pupil with classroom activities and ensuring they remain on task.
Facilitating movement breaks and other behaviour management techniques as required.
Implementing strategies to support the child's academic and emotional development.
Building a positive relationship with the pupil, helping to create a stable learning environment.
Communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and SENCO to monitor progress and adapt strategies.Requirements:

Welsh language fluency.
Proven experience working 1:1 with children, especially those with challenging behaviour.
Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this process).
