Job Title: Specification Sales Manager – Acoustic Suspended Ceilings

Industry Sector: Architects, CPD’s, specification sales, interior designers, end users, main contractors and construction

Area to be covered: M4 Corridor

Remuneration: Competitive + Bonus

The role of the Specification Sales Manager – Acoustic Suspended Ceilings will involve:

* Field sales role selling a manufactured range of acoustic suspended ceilings and acoustic wall solutions

* Targeting predominantly retail, education, leisure and office buildings

* Specification selling with architects, other specifiers, interior designers and end users

* Working in a buddy system with a commercial manager responsible for managing main contractors, distributors and specialist suspended ceiling installers / ceiling contractors

* Inheriting an area only available due to a promotion, currently achieving circa £2.6m

* Predominantly a new business development role, but there will be a small existing project bank to manage

* Carry out typically 1-2 CPD presentations per month

* Project sizes from £25,000 up to £1m, with an average project value of circa £50,000- £75,000

* Following up on glenigan leads

* Attending all relevant specifier exhibitions

The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager – Acoustic Suspended Ceilings with:

* Must have a proven field sales track record selling interior building products

* Experienced in generating specification sales via architects and or designers A&D

* Strong CPD presentation skills preferred but not essential

* Acoustic interior product knowldhe may be useful

* Open to other building products with strong architectural specification sales experience

* Commercially aware with strong business acumen

* Committed and extremely driven, with a high energy level
