The Role: As an Estimator, you will be a key player in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for various projects, primarily focused on healthcare and educational facilities. This position is based in Maidstone and offers a dynamic environment where your expertise will significantly contribute to the success of impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid submissions for healthcare and education projects.

* Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to produce accurate estimates.

* Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project costs and timelines.

* Conduct market research to stay informed about pricing trends and costs in the industry.

* Review and assess subcontractor bids to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.

* Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and presentations.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry, with a focus on healthcare and education projects an advantage.

* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.

* Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
