Our client is a leading construction company based in Cheshire, working on various projects across the North West including Crewe and Manchester. Projects include industrial, residential, extra care and education.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
* Conduct accurate site surveys and setting out to ensure precise placement of structures, utilities, and infrastructure elements according to engineering plans.
* Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and construction teams to interpret technical drawings and implement design specifications on-site.
* Utilize state-of-the-art surveying equipment and software to measure and maintain precise dimensions, elevations, and alignments.
* Monitor and verify construction progress, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards, promptly addressing any deviations or discrepancies.
* Provide technical guidance and support to site personnel, resolving technical queries and facilitating smooth construction processes.
Site Engineer Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or time served.
* Proven experience in site setting out and surveying within the construction industry.
* Proficiency in using total stations, GPS equipment, and CAD software for surveying and site layout.
* Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
