Semi-Senior / Client Accountant

Telford (Hybrid)

Seymour John is proud to be partnering with a progressive, tech savvy independent practice based in Telford. Due to internal progression they seek to recruit a candidate with previous practice experience in the role of Client Accountant. In this role you will work closely with the Client Managers and Director to produce accurate accounts for a varied client portfolio.

This an ideal opportunity for an individual early in their accounting career looking to develop and grow. Our experienced friendly team are on hand to give all the training and support needed to become a qualified accountant.

This role works with a diverse range of clients assisting in:

* Year-end accounts preparation

* Preparation of personal tax working papers

* VAT return preparation

* Client bookkeeping (Xero based)

* Client payrolls

* Client Xero Support

* Dealing with client queries

* Assisting with admin duties

Requirements:

It is essential that you have previous practice accounts preparation experience. My client prides themselves on providing excellent client service, so if you have a great attention to detail, great organisation skills and can manage your own workload you will be a great fit for the team.

In return my client operates a flexible approach to working hours to include hybrid working, casual dress, study support, private medical and a stakeholder pension.
