Shift Pattern: 4 On 4 Off, 06:00 AM - 18:00 PM
What You'll Do:
* Follow correct unloading procedures to ensure safety and accuracy.
* Count intake goods stock at the start or end of each shift.
* Comply with company rules, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
* Ensure delivered food materials meet safety, legal, and quality standards.
* Support the Team Manager and peers across various operations.
* Maintain high standards of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
* Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety.
* Contribute to the business's efficiency by suggesting improvements using lean thinking principles.
* Keep work areas clean and report non-standard conditions promptly.
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications:
o Previous warehouse experience is essential.
o Experience with Manuel Pump Truck (MPT) is required.
o Food Safety Level 2 or HACCP is advantageous, though training will be provided.
* Skills & Attributes:
o Basic IT skills.
o Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
o Willingness to learn and pass food-based qualifications.
o Strong team player with excellent work ethic and attitude.
o Enthusiasm for food and production processes.
Health & Safety Responsibilities
* Operate machinery only if trained and use the correct PPE for every task.
* Adhere to manual handling procedures and report any H&S concerns immediately.
Food Safety Requirements
* Comply with all hygiene and food safety procedures.
* Willingness to complete mandatory food safety qualifications during the probationary period.
