Our client based in Manchester are looking for an individual with exceptional customer service skills to look after and support their new and existing customers based in the North of England and overseas. Within this permanent Customer Relationship Executive role, you will be working closely with other teams you will provide potentially new and existing customers with a seamless first point of contact and onboarding process. This role is ideal for someone with outstanding customer service and relationship building skills.

Responsibilities for the Customer Relationship Executive will include: -

* Managing the Manchester Customer Relations and Quote mailbox.

* Sending e-mails into the correct operational departments with notes for the smooth handling of the customer’s needs.

* Providing quotes, quote follow up and onboarding of new customers.

* Updating customer profiles using the CRM System and managing new customer procedures.

* Working with the Digital Marketing teams to promote industry news and company services.

* Liaising with the Branch Manager, Overseas Development Director and other teams to identify and develop strategies to expand the freight forwarding and 3PL client base.

* Working with departmental freight teams to ensure that customers receive a high level of attention.

* Monitoring market trends, industry developments and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to Senior Management.

You will need: -

* Previous experience within an office based customer service or inside sales role.

* Commercial acumen and the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.

* Strong organisational, planning and execution skills.

* Good communication and relationship building skills.

* Good attention to detail and the ability to apply common sense

In return for your hard work, our client is offering a salary of £23,000 - £25,000pa, on-site car parking and a wide range of company benefits.

The working hours for this role are 9.00 – 5.30pm Monday to Friday
