Hours: Monday to Friday (Overtime Available)

The Role – HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic

We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic to join our highly skilled team. You will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing HGVs, ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out detailed inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGVs
Diagnose and resolve faults using systems such as HALDEX, WABCO, and KNORR BREMSE
Complete compliance documentation accurately
Conduct MOT preparations and safety checks
Work efficiently to meet customer expectations and deadlines
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements – HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic

Essential:

HGV maintenance experience
Recognised industry qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3)
Desirable:

HGV Class 1 driving licence
IRTEC accreditation
EBS diagnostics experience (Knorr Bremse, Haldex, WABCO)
Welding certification
Experience with axle manufacturers (BPW, SAF, JOST)
Tail lift maintenance experience
