Electrical Design Engineer (Power/Distribution)

£35-43K plus hybrid working plus excellent pension plus holiday

Are you an Electrical Engineer with a focus on design and power engineering, looking for a role offering superb career progression and training?

The role offers 2 days/week working from home once trained.

My client will look at graduates with a year's placement experience, up to more experienced candidates.

The position is with a large and fast growing utilities organisation based at their head offices. They are highly regarded (and have won national awards) for the training and progression available.

The role would focus on provide electrical design & technical support to the business.

Tasks will include:

1. Undertake Network demand calculations and design Points of Connection from existing electric networks.
2. Provide technical solutions and quotations for 3rd party Point of Connection Applications.
3. Assist in the maintenance of company records which is undertaken by the Electricity department

To apply you should have:

1. Electrical Engineering degree, NVQ level 2 or above, or relevant working experience
2. Experience in designing electricity distribution networks
3. Experience with AutoCAD
4. UK driving licence
