PE (Physical Education) Support

Location: Rotherham

Salary: £95 - £120 per day

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Full Time/Part Time

Are you enthusiastic about sports and passionate about helping students reach their physical potential? GSL Education have an exciting opportunity for a PE (Physical Education)  Support role at a client school in Rotherham. As a PE (Physical Education) Support, you will be integral to the Physical Education department, assisting in delivering engaging and inclusive sports activities that inspire students to lead healthy and active lives.

Responsibilities:

Assist the PE teacher in organising and delivering a variety of sports and physical activities.
Provide one-on-one and group support to students, encouraging participation and skill development.
Help manage equipment and maintain a safe and organised environment for PE lessons.
Support students with different abilities, ensuring everyone can take part in activities.
Encourage positive attitudes towards health and fitness among students.
Assist in the planning and execution of sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a PE Support role or a similar position in an educational setting.
A passion for sports and physical education.
Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate students.
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required.
Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
