As a Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in assessing, treating, and managing individuals with a wide range of neurological conditions, helping them to achieve their maximum potential. This role offers a diverse caseload, working within our cutting-edge Neuro Hub and delivering high-quality care to clients in their homes and communities, and therefore a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role.

What you'll be working:

Our standard working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. However, we understand the importance of a positive work-life balance, and therefore, if you require some flexibility to better suit your personal or professional needs, we encourage you to discuss this with us, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences where possible.

What you'll be doing:

Provide comprehensive assessment, advice, and treatment of clients following life changing catastrophic injury

Manage own caseload working as an autonomous practitioner

Provide Physiotherapist as part of the multidisciplinary team, and be involved in interdisciplinary team service developments, meetings and audit as appropriate

Demonstrate empathy with distressed clients, carers/ families and colleagues, ensuring that effective communication is achieved, particularly where barriers to understanding exist

Undertake continuous professional development and invest in the team by promoting excellent skills and embedding innovation

Write reports in a range of styles as well as keeping up to date with clinical record keeping

Provide line management support and supervision to team members from a clinical and/or organisational perspective

Keep an overview of treatment programmes to ensure they are aligned with clinical recommendations and the rehabilitation package commissioned for each client

What you'll have:

HCPC registration

Extensive postgraduate work experience

Experience of working within a neurorehabilitation setting

Knowledge of the medico-legal system would be an advantage

Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
