Machine Setter

Due to continued growth and success, my client is on the lookout for multiple machine setters to join their team. My client is one of the market leaders within packaging and have multiple sites in the UK.

If you have experience setting machines from any other industry, such as print production, food production, beverage, pharmaceutical, plastic etc, I’d love to hear from you!

You will work 3x 12-hour shifts a week, alternating between days and nights on a weekly basis. They also offer a 7-week holiday allowance!!

The Role

Setting up the machine to the correct standards

Maintaining the efficient running of production

Carrying out maintenance tasks

Maintain a clean, safe working area

The Person

A successful proven record and experience of setting machinery in a production/manufacturing background

Has a proactive approach to work – always willing to learn

Good attention to detail

Good time keeping and attendance

Flexible regarding overtime to cover sickness and holidays.

Salary

The starting salary for this role is £28,000 and rises slightly after probation.
