An Automatic Door Engineer is required for National work based from the Wakefield area of West Yorkshire. Whether you are mechanically or electrically trained, as a fitter you will repair, install and maintain roller shutters, docking equipment and automated high-speed doors through the UK.
You will require experience as a fitter or maintenance engineer and hold a full UK driving licence. A company vehicle and tools will be provided.
The role:
Working in this highly successful company across a variety of companies, you will ensure that safely maintained access points are working effectively in line with service level agreements, offering the best customer service throughout.
* Fitting and maintaining a wide range of access doors, roller shutters, docking equipment, industrial doors and their relevant mechanisms.
* Completing safety and standards paperwork per site
* Adhering to customers site safety and access requirements
* Report to head office for snags, deadlines and service enquiries
* Manage work schedules and deadlines as a team
We are looking for:
* Experience in Loading Bays, Retractable Grilles, Sectional Doors, Roller Shutters, High Speed Doors and similar as a Fitter or Engineer
* A qualification for mechanical or electrical works
* A CSCS card or lapsed card which you are happy to renew at offer stage.
* A full UK Driving licence, for insurance purposes you will need to be 25 years or above to use the company vehicles.
* Ability to work away from home on occasion for short jobs.
* Great communication and team skills.
This role is Monday to Friday 8-5pm plus overtime. There is a requirement to travel to site and travel time is payable after 30 minutes commute, there is limited time away overnight, our client is family run and focus on work life balance for their team of employees.
