The Role

As Team Manager - Adult Safeguarding, you will:

Lead a team of social workers, ensuring high-quality assessment, care management, and safeguarding.

Ensure compliance with the Care Act 2014 and best practices.

Supervise and develop staff, ensuring high performance and professional standards.

Manage workloads, budgets, and care planning.

Work with health professionals, police, and voluntary organisations.

Promote strengths-based practice and cost-effective care solutions.

Lead safeguarding investigations and complex decision-making.

Contribute to service development and policy implementation.

About You

We are seeking a leader who:

Is a qualified social worker (SWE registered) with adult safeguarding experience.

Has expert knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and safeguarding policies.

Demonstrates strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Has experience in budget management, team development, and service improvements.

Thrives in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment and can manage complex cases.

Is committed to safeguarding and delivering outstanding care.

Is proficient in IT systems and understands Health & Safety, Data Protection, and Equal Opportunities policies.
