Service Engineer - Agricultural Machinery

Prime Appointments is partnering with a leading agricultural machinery dealer to recruit an experienced Service Engineer for their team in Colchester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company offering strong career progression and benefits.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Service Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

Diagnosing and repairing software, electrical, hydraulic, powertrain, and mechanical faults.
Servicing and maintaining JCB and other agricultural machinery to manufacturer standards, ensuring safety and reliability.
Providing detailed reports on completed work, including photographs and accurate time records.
Using diagnostic software via laptop (training provided).
Identifying potential issues and recommending additional services where appropriate.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in agricultural, commercial, or construction engineering, particularly in vehicle maintenance.
Strong fault-finding and repair skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
