A fantastic opportunity for a full-time position with a leading London based M&E Contractor. Our client is seeking to add to their growing team and predicted to turnover more than £150 million this year. They are currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Construction manager to join the team on a permanent basis. The initial project will be a major commercial CAT A fit out coordinating the full mechanical services on a flagship building.

The Role

As Mechanical Construction Manager, you will be working closely with the Project manager and responsible for:

* Coordination and Management of Mechanical Subcontractors

* Assisting in up front Engineering and Pre-Construction activities

* Setting up H&S paperwork and processes

* Procurement od daily materials

* Tool box Talks and inductions

* Driving of project program and reporting progress to the management team

* Involvement in client and progress meetings

* Overall for successful and smooth running of the site

The Candidate

Candidates will come from a trade Background (Pipefitter / Welder) and be experienced in managing sub-contractors and direct labour on schemes in excess of £5million. You will also hold:

* In date CSCS trade Card

* SMSTS

* Have proven record working in a site manager’s capacity

* Strong man management and communication skills
