Position: Senior Legal Counsel
Role Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Location: South Hertfordshire/Greater London (one day per week office-based)
Salary: Up to £95,000 per annum plus bonus and benefits

Our client is actively seeking to recruit for a Senior Legal Counsel to join their In-House legal team, providing expert legal support across a diverse range of commercial agreements and regulatory matters. This role offers the perfect blend of flexibility and responsibility, with just one day a week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Agreements: Review, negotiate, and draft a broad range of commercial contracts, with a focus on IT/Tech, supply, and distribution agreements.
Data Protection & Compliance: Provide legal advice and ensure compliance with data protection regulations, including GDPR, and oversee related compliance activities.
Financial Services Regulation: Support the business in navigating financial services regulations, ensuring that all activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various departments across the business, offering legal guidance and ensuring that all contracts and agreements align with the company's objectives.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations, ensuring that the company's legal interests are protected.Ideal Candidate Requirements:

UK qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years PQE ideally with an In-House background, PP candidates will also be considered.
Expertise in reviewing, negotiating, and drafting a wide range of commercial agreements, ideally having handled IT/Tech and Supply & Distribution contracts.
Proven knowledge of data protection laws and compliance requirements.
Experience within the financial services or Insurance sector would be an advantage, but not essential.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to tight deadlines.Benefits:
