A leading high street supplier is recruiting a passionate and experienced Multiproduct Womenswear Designer across trend-led wovens & jersey. This role will be working within the design team and alongside the Account Manager, based in London.

About the Role:

Overseeing the entire design process, starting with trend and research, developing ranges, preparing and presenting in customer meetings and daily contact with the customer. Emphasis on shape design and knowledge of fabrics. Print and graphic design skills are not essential but a bonus to the role. Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

We are looking for a Womenswear Designer who is:

* Experienced womenswear designer, ideally with a high street supplier.

* Commercially aware of current trends and themes, developing the brand and working with production to ensure all products are designed and manufactured in line with the customers’ direction and critical path.

* An excellent communicator and someone who is comfortable working with colleagues and customers at all levels, including customers and factories and third parties based in the Far East and Europe

* Highly organised, efficient and able to work to tight deadlines

* Garment technical knowledge, ability to compile detailed tech packs

* Driven, takes initiative, positive and solutions focused

* Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel), photoshop and Illustrator, 3D design skills are beneficial

* Educated to degree level, ideally related to fashion design
