Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
Location: Mainstream Primary School, S9 area of Sheffield
Start Date: Monday 4th November
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (Ongoing)
Pay Rate: £85 - £100 per day
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant with experience in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) to join a mainstream primary school in the S9 area of Sheffield. This full-time role will involve working across Year 3, providing essential support to pupils and helping to create an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Provide tailored support to children with SEN, adapting learning materials to meet individual needs.
* Assist with classroom management and behaviour support, fostering a positive and focused learning environment.
* Work with small groups or 1:1 with pupils to help them achieve their learning goals.
* Monitor and report on pupil progress, collaborating with teachers and SENCO to ensure the best outcomes.
* Promote the social and emotional development of pupils, ensuring their well-being.
Skills & Requirements:
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
* Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) is essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning and development.
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a range of tasks effectively.
