The Job You’ll Do;

* To be an operational member of the electrical design team to ensure systems are delivered on time and to specification.

* Create electrical schematics that show how electrical components work together to accomplish a process.

* Produce layout drawings of the given plan, components and devices.

* Component specification and verification in accordance with operating environment.

* Produce and modify bill of materials and support onsite installation requirements

* Understand construction or production methods and processes.

* Examine existing drawings and double-check them for reliability and manufacturability

* Be involved with continuous improvement and design standardization

* Updating Engineering drawings to ensure as built data is captured or to include changes and/or enhancements

* Help design products with engineering and manufacturing techniques

* Liaise with other engineers and shop floor technicians to ensure system requirements are met

* Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products with support from engineering

* Support project specific Safety documentation to relevant standard requirements.

* Prepare documentation for the system’s intended use as well as any safety related instructions

* Create necessary system calculations – Power requirements, IS circuit calculations etc.

About You;

* Possess knowledge of Electrical Engineering & Standards (essential).

* Qualified to HND/Degree level in electrical engineering or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

* Must have a strong understanding/ experience with AutoCAD Electrical.

* Draw and interpret Flow diagrams (Visio etc).

* Experience of Designing Electrical Schematics, preferably in EPLAN (training can be provided if necessary)
