thefutureworks are recruiting a Cleaning Supervisor for Coventry University London Campus in Central London (SE11 5AD)
The post holder will lead and manage a team of approximately 7 cleaners and will be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning operations of the campus building, ensuring that staff provide a high-quality service.
Low-level maintenance and routine inspections are also required to support the Maintenance Supervisor.

Working Pattern: 06:00 - 14:30 Mon - Fri (5/7) Occasional Saturday working.

Main Duties

* Oversee the cleaning team, assign tasks, and ensure quality. Schedule cleaning operations and create rotas. Manage workload and staff absences while prioritising tasks effectively.

* Ensure the quality of work meets hygiene, infection control, health and safety, and Group standards. Regularly monitor cleaning standards by conducting audits and recording the results in the system.

* Develop, manage, and track the completion of seasonal and routine cleaning tasks. Ensure adherence to quality standards.

* Support the Maintenance Supervisor in delivering site-specific training to ensure best practices are maintained across all sites. Ensure that staff are knowledgeable about and adhere to relevant policies and procedures concerning health and safety at work, manual handling, COSHH, risk assessments, and method statements.

Pay Rate £13.60 per hour

Location: Zone 1- Vauxhall SE11 5AD
