Long Term Futures, a leading education recruitment agency, is looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join an Ofsted Outstanding primary school immediately after the Easter break. This full-time role will run for the remainder of the academic year, with the opportunity to go permanent from September.
Key Details:
Role: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Outstanding primary school in Westminster with excellent transport links and on-site parking
Start Date: ASAP after the Easter break
Duration: Until the end of the academic year, with a permanent opportunity from September
Age Group: Key Stage 2 (KS2)
Training: Team Teach or restraint training preferred (but training will be provided for the right candidate)
Pay Rate: £100 - £120 per day
The Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will support Key Stage 2 pupils who have challenging behaviour, helping them to manage emotions, build positive relationships, and stay engaged with their learning. You will be a mentor figure, providing guidance and structure to students who need extra support.
This Ofsted Outstanding school is committed to inclusive education and has a strong behaviour support team. You will work alongside experienced teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to ensure each child receives the support they need to thrive.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience working as a Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or in a similar role
Training in Team Teach, restraint training, or other de-escalation techniques (preferred but not essential)
Experience supporting children with behavioural needs, SEMH, ADHD, or Autism
A passion for working with young people and making a real impact
Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
